The lever change colour doesn't affect where the sleeve is located. The sleeve is located in the part of the handlebar bracket that is not affected because the original silver lever fits into the black base and the sleeve is covered by the black headed bolt that is secured with a nut on the underside of the lever base. You are only changing the lever, in my case red, and as you can see from the clutch pic and the base remains the same.

I ordered some Tec on the 28th arrived and fitted perfectly today 30th excellent look, feel and easy to install highly recommend them.
