    Garage door opener solutions?

I’m curious if anyone here has a streamlined solution for opening garage doors that’s integrated into the bike somehow…ie., duct taped to handle bars, keychain versions, smart garages, etc.

I’ve lost a few standard ones over the years and always on the look out for something slim and sleek that can go on the bike. What would be cooler, is to have a garage door that automatically opened based on proximity…The technology is there but I wish there were more options.

I saw this today during a google search. It
Sells on Amazon and there’s a YouTube review on it. Anyone here use it? If so, what’s it like? Dislikes?

It’s pricey up front, but I wouldn’t mind paying more for a solution if it was transferable and lasted many years.

    Here’s the product on Amazon:

I have this one on my Trident keyfob, and a couple of these mounted to my baby ADV and Virago VX1100 bobber bikes.

Thanks. I was looking those. Work well? No issues?

All of them work great. The only reason I didn't mount the cheaper one somewhere on the Trident is because I have those keys with me 90% of the time anyway.

Hrm, don’t have anything attached to the bike but I do have a Cardo for listening to music and talking with other riders on my helmet.

My setup is an Alladin connect for the garage door and a Siri shortcut so i can just say “Hey Siri, open garage door.” When i turn onto my street, the door is open by the time i get to my house. No fuss no muss and a clean bike.

I have a remote under the seat.
Wire is soldered to the remote button and led to a black waterproof button on handlebars.

Looks very nice and clean. I almost didn't see the button because it looks like it came with the bike. Is this your own custom solution or did you buy a kit?

Hmm...Not sure I like the having to press the horn button every time to open the garage door...but it's definitely different :P

I purchased the MyQ garage opener from Amazon. It integrates with alexa, ring and other systems (works by itself mainly and talks to these services). It has an app on my phone that I use. I have a quadlock mount so I just tap on my phone and it opens/closes. Also lets me know when door opens/closes whenever I am away from home, etc. It was about $50 and works well. Took 15 minutes to install.
