    Short answer - Your foot will be an inch or so lower, so depending on where the controls are, you may need to change their location.

    Longer answer - On my bike, the brake was too low to start with. It was in a better position with the relocated peg. I installed a TSA (triumph shift assist aka quick shifter) after the pegs were put on and am still messing around trying to get the lever in the right place. I have a few pairs of boots of varying thickness and trying to find a compromise is a little tricky.
