    Coolant Question

So, the manual says the coolant is D2053 OAT (T4007771). Does anyone know if the T660 can only use this specific coolant? Or can other similar OAT coolant of similar color be used? Asking for future reference. Thanks in advance.  :027:

I just know that you aren't supposed to mix them and that Triumph has two formulas for that same coolant, one is green one is orange and you are definitely not supposed to mix those.
You're supposed to do a full flush too when changing it, its not recommended to "top off" even with the same coolant.
Started looking into this myself because of course from the dealer the coolant is just barely on the minimum line and I want to top it off but no dealer has the green triumph coolant near me only the orange one...

I think any coolant with OAT will work though.

I was taking a look at my coolant today and it's on the minimum level. I read the manual and searched for the one recommended by Triumph but it says it's orange.

I guess I'm not the only one with the green one. Is this the HDX4X one? The manual only mentions the OAT (orange) one. Not sure how should I proceed to take it to the maximum level.

For the amount you need Jay I would top up with cooled boiled water! to bring it to the level.
Next time I'd source the correct type and check for a leak!
