    Re-setting Date and Time

Having had the battery out, I went for a ride and realised I hadn't reset the clock and date.  Having tried resetting both, many times, and checking the manual to see if I was missing something, it still will not change to the values entered.  The manual doesn't say anything about the delete function which I have been using to delete the existing values, before entering the current date and time values.

I can change everything else in the display but the date and time refuse to be corrected.  :027:

Anyone else had this problem or have any handy hints?  I really don't have time to go back to the dealer with this one and it's driving me nuts!

I’ve reset the clocks a number of times, can’t say there is any special way of doing it I’m afraid  :008:

Will have a look for you next time I’m out on it

Thanks Kwalmsleyy,  I'm sure it must be user error.  I can't find any other mention of this problem on the forum.  I must be doing something wrong but I've nearly flattened the battery trying to set the d*mn thing, trying to find other options/sequences of buttons......

Don't forget to scroll down to highlight 'Enter' at the bottom of the screen when you finish setting up hour and press the OK button on the grip to set the hour.

I just quickly changed the time on mine and works OK.

    Greetings
    Eryk

Ah, thanks Eryk, that might be it.  I'll have a go later.  :763:

    Brilliant, it worked.  Thanks mate.

I didn't realise you had to highlight "Enter" in blue before pressing the tick/select button, certainly not clear or mentioned in the handbook.  Anyway, sorted.  :763:
